Hi all

I just wanted to take a second to thank all of you. I have been reading the posts on this site for a couple of months now. I’m amazed at how much some of you know about the H3.

My truck arrived on Oahu last week (via slow boat) and I felt like I have already owned it for a year with everything I learned here.

Oh, not that I will need it here but I cant seem to find the rear defroster button. My owners manual disappeared on the on the Pasha Hawaii Transport.

Check the vent control knob all the way to the right of the heat/AC controls. Push it in - rear defrost!!! Lucky you won't need it though.

Yup that's little ole me in the avatar. Ill try to post some pics but I have no clue how to do that yet.

I also have to find my camera. Im still unpacking, but i did manage to find my laptop and the nearest Starbucks Too bad the traffic here is worse than LA.

Yup - that would be the one . Like you said, you won't have much use for it there (not that you would have in LA either). I used to live in LA myself. What part of LA were you living in?

Just wondering... Why do you need the defrost in Honolulu? I wouldn't imagine that you get lots of frost and snow there...

That's very true. I work on an Army base in NJ that's being shut down within the next few years. They're going to get a pretty penny for this place.

I'm installing my pontoon tires on my H3 as we speak. Lookin to float to Hawaii. Can anyone find me a way out to the ocean from Lake Erie.

If you find that camera and you have the time please take the Kamehameha Hwy north to Kawela Bay and snap off a pic of the break. It’s been 2 years since I surfed Oahu and Long Island waves suck.

Oh and stop off at the Dole Pineapple plantation and get yourself some Pinnacle ice cream or better yet while your on the north shore get yourself some “Shave Ice”

surferjo I was at robert moses beach today .It had a big surf, waters rough, there were a couple of guys in wet suits going at the surf.

If you are going to try and make up your profession at least know that an anesthesiologist is a doctor. You must first complete med school before ever trying to become an anesthesiologist. Just because you might be hot doesn't mean you can get away with lying.

There is a really tiny burger joint up at the north shore. Can't remember the name of it but I am pretty sure it is a francise from japan (judging from the pictures). Get a bacon pineapple burger. Best ever.
