another pic

CBR_Raven 02-13-2006 09:56 PM

those pics are not that great...i will take more when i get the rig cleaned up.

tomp 02-13-2006 10:09 PM

I don't think the pics do them justice because of the glare. Try and get some better pics.

How much were those tires each?

Too much wheel, not enough tire, especially with an off-road tire like that.

H3HUMVEE 02-13-2006 10:14 PM

those tires look like the BFG Krawler T/A's

CBR_Raven 02-13-2006 10:14 PM

no, those pics don't do them justice at all. i just did it to get a couple of quick photos of the rig. the tires alone were $2700 OTD...mount and balance included with locking lugs.

tomp 02-13-2006 10:15 PM

How's the rubbing issue

timgco 02-13-2006 10:17 PM

That looks damn good!!!!!!

tomp 02-13-2006 10:22 PM

I actually like the "look" of it!

I got these 5 tires for $1625.00 OTD mounted and balanced and are 13.5" wide http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/t...1/m/1121087051

NewHummerGuy 02-13-2006 10:23 PM

I second that CBR. Looks classy yet mean <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by timgco:

Now all you need is to mod the step tubes like OC did.

VTSTOMPER 02-13-2006 10:26 PM

I like it!

JohnB.GWU. 02-13-2006 10:35 PM

HummBob 02-13-2006 11:14 PM

Great Look I Love the matching spare!

How tall are those tires? The truck looks lifted, I like the spacing...

Mark

Alan06SUT 02-14-2006 12:56 AM

Nice, not the look I go for but looks good. The bling wheels lokk much better with real tires than when they put rubber band street tires on.

mstams 02-14-2006 01:06 AM

Yep. Looks great. I think I would have gone with 20's just to keep a little more meat on the tires. But I love the look of the wheels.

They look good. Not very practical for anything more than mild offroading, which is fine if that's all you do. Waaaay better than lo-pro street tires!

If you like that setup, you might want to think about one of these grills to complement the wheels...

Grills

JUST TEASING!!!

CO Hummer 02-14-2006 06:34 PM

You forgot to get a chrome winch for that setup.

rocketw19 02-14-2006 08:36 PM

Looks sweet CBR--id pimp it

CBR_Raven 02-15-2006 05:32 PM

thanks for all the compliments guys. i was contemplating trading my rig in for an '06 but since i put so much into my '03, i think that i'll just keep it and maybe buy another when they actually make some major changes. it seems like everytime i add something to my rig, it feels brand new all over again.

DAMN YOU!!! YOU DID IT BEFORE I COULD!!!

Looks awesome!

I have the same set up ready to install, my truck will be here in three weeks. I got my wheels black chromed though. I got the tires from Discount tire for $2200 and you can get the wheels from eBay for $1400, there used to be a guy who sold them for about $1000, I can't find him now for some reason. I paid him $1300.

Congrats!!!

Thanks! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>the noise is not that bad at all. it's barely louder than the stock bfg's. but it did make it the ride a lil ruff, i guess because of the aggressive thread.
