Hey,

I know alot of you are not fans of CHROME whatsoever, so this is more for those who are fans

Wondering what your thoughts are on these - Strada Bad Apple wheels?

I think they are pretty sharp, but I'm having a BIT*H of a time deciding on which 22's I want to get

they are ok at best IMO. are you gonna run street tires? if yes id go at least 24s but probably 26s!

Lean Machine 11-09-2005 08:44 PM

I agree, they are just ok. Wouldn't be my first pick. I'm looking for some new 22" rims also. I am trying to let price narrow my options. Which helps a little.

VTSTOMPER 11-09-2005 08:50 PM

nope. They just do not look good at all IMO. I love chrome and all...but not those.

Fastest H-Town Realtor 11-10-2005 12:49 AM

I vote "different". Not my style, but still nice.

Log on to http://www.superbuytires.com as suggested earlier. Click on the Gallery tab to the left. They have several pages of H2 with the street look.
Good luck with your search for the perfect chrome rims!

Thanks but I already saw those...Nothing that really makes me say I WANT THOSE!

MONSTERMATT 11-12-2005 12:12 AM

i hate em but really why do u give a **** what anybody else thinks aboout ur wheels? if u like em than **** it

Boss Hoss 11-12-2005 01:13 AM

I agree with Rocket. If you are going street tires you need at a minimum 24's but 26's will fill the wells much better.

If you dont really plan on wheeling i think 22's would be sweet with the right tire....eg Toyo Open Country M/T

As far as the rim you picked out i dont care for it...i think Hummers need more spokes, but thats just my opinion.

how about these?

HummBob 11-12-2005 07:08 AM

Thanks for the help so far but, correct me if I'm wrong, to FILL THE WHEEL WELL as some have stated, does it matter if it's 22", 24" or 26"?
Doesn't the size of the rim just subtract the size of the tire? Theoretically, with the proper size tire on a rim, shouldn't they all be the same diameter, just less rubber with a larger rim?
I'm not much of a gear head(I wish) so I may be TOTALLY WRONG

HummBob 11-12-2005 07:14 AM

Here are some of the rims with kinda the look I like, I'm not big on the Spoked type:
Akuzza

Lorenzo

Mazzi

Platinum

Verde

Does anyone know anything about the quality etc. of these? Anyone have these on their rig?
Thanks again for the help in this FU*#ING painstaking decision!!
Hell, I don't even know if this are 8 lug or not. I just like this type of look
Maybe I should just get the Dub Condo, but something about it just doesn't JUMP out at me? Close but no cigar!

Sportsdude 11-12-2005 02:35 PM

I went with 24"

HummBob 11-12-2005 07:29 PM
