2 Hummers in every driveway. |
Re: thinking of switching to h2
Oh, don't do that. They suck for gas mileage and they break tie rods all the time.

Re: thinking of switching to h2
I would have a H2 if I could afford it.

i just did this myself... i went from driving a rare Acura NSX sports car everyday to my newly purchased H2. sure i miss driving the sports car, but i love driving the H2!!! |
Re: thinking of switching to h2
I could have easily bought a 03 low milage h2 for the price of my h3. I am a real estate broker and drive around a lot, I would not put up with the fuel cost of the h2. It has nothing to do with being able to afford it, it has to do with, do i want a beast that gets 9 mpg. Hell No

Wa-wa-what!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your gonna need a lot more room in that garage!!!;) :D |
Re: thinking of switching to h2
It all comes down to what fits best in your daily life. I had the opportunity to get a low mileage '05 LUX that was loaded for about the same money when I got my H3. Decided the H3 fit better right now. May go to an H2 in a few years but will have to wait and see.

Re: thinking of switching to h2
DO NOW! Having 2 Hummers is (was) awesome. You'll love it, because you can use whichever fits the situation best. I wish I had two again, but an H1 ALPHA Opentop and an H2 SUT. Maybe when the H1 tumble even further, I can get one. :D

Re: thinking of switching to h2
I'm thinking about moving up to a H2 as well. My 3 is sitting at the dealership this weekend and there is a pewter 06 SUT sitting in the driveway that the dealer let me take home for the weekend. A lot of things that I like about it so far but then I really like the 3 that I've had for six months too. I'm kinda on the fence about moving up to the SUT.

Re: thinking of switching to h2
NIck, I have owned 2 H3'S, 3 H'2s. and 2 H1's. The H2 is an amazing vehicle. Below is my opinions and advice to you on the H2 BUY:-)
I owned the following H2'S 1- 2004 Black SUV ADV 1- 2005 Yellow SUV ADV 1- 2005 Black SUT ADV. The H2 (when properly outfitted) is an amazing vehicle. Below is what you need to have superior on and off road experiences. (At the very least) 1- Off-Road Tires (Toyo Open Country (Mine on the H3), BFG Mudd Terrain (Mine on the H2), ETC...) that are great off-road and good on-road. 2- You must get the ADV package with air suspension. (Sometimes you just need the height) 3- Off-Road B Guard (keep those wabbits away) 4- Spare Tire Eliminator Kit (unless you want to hit trees) 5- Staun Tire Deflators (optional, but very easy to air down) 6- Powertank Tire Air Inflater (Optional) Good luck and do whats best for your needs. If you do alot of off-roading than the H2 is probably better suited for you. If you do a fine mix of both than maybe consider another H3 (H3X) ![]() |
