New guy saying Hi with pic of new ride

2 Attachment(s)
Bought her two weeks ago. 06 Lux, DVD, Tonneau. I added SS Brush guard with inserts and hard spare cover.

What's next? Supercharger and rims, baby! Still researching those, though.

Thanks. For me, black was the only choice. Got it washed and waxed yesterday and they got wax on all the plastic!

I didn't leave until they got it all off, but I can see I've got my work cut out keeping it clean.

So, what about rims? I won't off-road, so I just want to dress it up. I was thinking some black with chrome lip. I'm new to the whole "dub" thing as I've only bought wheels for Porsche, Viper, etc., so how adversely does size affect ride, handling, fuel econ., etc in this beast? I'll search on this too, just thought I would ask.

In the event that they did not remove all of it, and just covered some of it up with plastic trim dressing, use a scrub brush and some peanut oil to remove the wax residue.

Nice looking SUT!

That's a sweet ride. You're not 50 cent, are you?:)

How did those affect your performance, ride, etc.?

Did you lower it at all?

More like a QUARTER!!!

I did a Ground Force lowering kit(2" front, 3" rear).

I love the ride. A little rougher at first, but it grows on you. You can really feel the road. Handles more like a BIG BRICK SPORTS CAR!!

I also added the Volant CAI and the Magnaflow exhaust, which helps out the performance!!

I get alot of CRAP on this site but 'EM ALL!!

Yeah, I've heard it's more pure off-roaders here then street guys. That's cool. Rednecks are people too!:giggling:

Alright, just kidding, but I live in south Florida. If I were to go off road, I'd need a Donzi, not a Hummer!

Nice truck , the same as mine but w/o the bling, if you use a scrub brush on the trim youll scratch it up pretty good, something that a guy like you would sweat

im so tired of people dropping rims on a hummer. Go buy an escalade if that's what you want. Nothing against rims, but if you want a street vehicle, buy one. If you want a hummer treat it with more respect than putting 20's on it. I mean seriously. Common!

:iagree:

Also, some of us dont live near places to off road, so a h2 with a 6in lift riding on 37's isnt really conventional when you have to park in a parking lot with a 7ft height limit.
Then again, Bob, i think you've taken it a step too far with the bling. So i guess a good suggestion for you would to be to take it to one of those car shows or something where you can compare how much bling your ride has compared to another. It's a good chance to get some hot girls sitting in your ride as well. But other than that, I dont see your level of bling serving much more of a purpose.
