38x15.5 offroad on stock hummer
1 Attachment(s)
Here's a couple pics of the 38x15.5 offroad, nothing great, but offroad, I didn't realize the camera still had a couple videos recorded on it, so the memory would only allow a couple of pics, when I get back in town I will go back out and take some better pics of it off road.

Re: 38x15.5 offroad on stock hummer
Rubbed like a bitch in the parking lot too w/ a 6"L. Even occasionally after trimming the fender wells.
BADADADADDADADADADADADDADADADADA. Makes your face go oooooh. |

Thanks, Sure they rub, you can get about 3/4 turn before any rubbing, I can go through ditches with minor rubbing. The most rock crawling I do is over stone walls. No damage to wheel wells, no rub marks in tires, as of yet any way. |

3/4 of a turn??? That brings the suck. Going through a 6" ditch isn't wheeling. And I bet your "stone wall" has an eerie resemblance to a curb. Stop exaggerating.:OWNED: |

Nice pics !!

Re: 38x15.5 offroad on stock hummer
The first pic makes it look as if the tires are too wide for the wheels. Not sure why, because the other pics don't look like it.

Re: 38x15.5 offroad on stock hummer
I think it looks pretty good. I could see some street queens pulling that off no problem.
I can't imagine what it would be like off road though...like REAL wheeling. |

Great pics!!:D

Re: 38x15.5 offroad on stock hummer
That's true off-roading! Driving it off the pavement doesn't count for off-roading.

Re: 38x15.5 offroad on stock hummer
Murf,
It looks good, I'm surprised you were able to get those tires on there without a liftkit. Just be prepared though, like the others mentioned, you won't have a lot of ability to jump curbs even without rubbing...let alone going off roading. The least amount of flex in your suspension with the wheels turned will either rub or tear something up. Having said that, if you don't offroad, then don't worry about it. It looks good. Mark |

^^^^ I agree

For my application it works just fine, the rubbing is not bad, I'm more into mud and snow not rocks. I guess after thousands of hours in a skidder (which will go only where hummers have wet dreams of going) i don't find that crawling over rocks much fun. And OFFROADING does not consist of only driving over rocks.

That little farm skidder looks nearly brand new. I can guarantee any Hummer will go anywhere that little skidder will go. All they will have to do is stuff those Ag tires underneath and hope they don't rub. |

I can guarantee your wrong. Ag tires or not, there is no way |
