Detroit Auto Show
It started and no sign of the 2008 H2?
They show an 08 H3 Open Top Concept (that will never see production) What Gives? http://www.automobilemag.com/auto_sh...r_h3_open_top/ |
Re: Detroit Auto Show
timgco, how did you find out that the '08 H3 Open Top will never see production? And how could there not be a 2008 H2, there might just not be any changed so there not showing it??? I can't see how they would not make it seeing as the sales women and the dealership said there coming out with a 2 door open back H2. But who knows, I hope they dont stop making it!

read closer: It sais CONCEPT. 08's will be out in about 6 months. Never see production? I doubt it. no real proof. Don;t get me wrong, it would be cool. |

You'd just trade it in anyway! :giggling: |
Re: Detroit Auto Show
Timgco I know it said concept but they way you said it made it seem as if you were certain it was never going to see production.

Re: Detroit Auto Show
New stuff will be seen at the NYC show in April. IIRC it's while we're in Moab.

But, Whatever IS going to show that hasn't been shown before, is not going to be revealed until the opening day, likely. For whatever reason, it's GM's way.:( That ragtop H3 is not a debut, it was at SEMA as Phil shows. Automobile is just trying to generate their own stir. It's likely going to be a couple of days before we hear anything on the "H4" not showing (which I still have doubts about showing) and the H3 truck |

no spy shot of nothing but the pick-up, what gives

Re: Detroit Auto Show
I think GM's just doing a good job of hiding everything they're working on. You'll probably see the H4 sometime around a year before it's introduction all camoed up.

Re: Detroit Auto Show

I know someone who's gonna be there and will let me know if there's a H4 concept for real. He will take some phone pics and send them to me. :clapping: |

Re: Detroit Auto Show
Ok, now that the show is basically open to the public:clapping: ; there will be no H4 at the show, no 2008 H2 and I DON'T BELIEVE a 2008 H3 (H3 I am not sure of, but pretty dang sure on the H2 and H4 information).
The Detroit Auto Show is going to be so boring this year, I probably won't go, and I can actually take time off of work to head down to Detroit to see the thing. When will the new vehicles be shown...see DRTY for that info:beerchug: |

Are you kidding? Gosh and I was so sure the H4 was going to be there.:giggling: Care to make a prediction on the H3 truck?:shhh: |
Re: Detroit Auto Show

A guess...not the actual truck, but they might have the concept truck from years before. Heck they are still sourcing the contracts at Shrevepot for production, so it is still a least a year off in the future. |

Dammit, they should anyway. It only makes sense now, they need to take advantage of the H4 buzz created somehow. |

Re: Detroit Auto Show
I sure wouldn't want to be rear-ended in that thing. You would definately have something in your rear!!! What is so smart about it? There is nothing to it.

 All that space dedicated to the H3? Not a single H2 being shown? Is there a message in the subtext being sent from GM? I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for a updated H2 but where is the light at the end of the tunnel? |

WTF? Look what I found in the background of one of the pictures? Looks like H2 is in the house? Where is the coverage of this in all the pictures? Guess it's just being ignored by the press.   |
