Fiji is the purest form and purest tasting water I've ever had ...absolutely no after taste. I've been drinking it for years. Square bottle, but who cares... I drive a square vehicle. :giggling:

Aquafina, but my dog will only drink fiji water. He'd rather dehydrate than drink anything else.

dasani is the one for me, but i would really drink any of them. About the square fiji water bottles comment, they should have square cup holders in Hummers.

I sell Aquafina at the park so I drink that when there, but at home I fill my water jug with tap water and put it in the fridge. It all tastes the same to me when its cold.

I try to drink tap water for the flouride. Dasani and Aquifina is Coke and Pepsi. I chose Voss.

I like Deer Park because I have seen the source. I always look at the source. I drink Ethos alot because of the charity. I used to drink Evian but then started to boycott the Frenchies. It all tastes the same to me.:)

Speaking of dog's drinking water, our Vet told us that feeding distilled water to our Boston Terrier would help prevent the staining they get near their eyes.

I haven't tried it yet, has anyone else heard this?

My vote for water is #1 Johnson County Water Dist. 1 tap water, #2 Ozarka!

X2 Then I fill them up with tap water.

We have excellent tap water here,do know where yours comes from?

All the water is withdrawn from porous underground sand and gravel formations known as aquifers. There are three major aquifers found beneath Suffolk County. The deepest aquifer is the Lloyd Aquifer, and it contains water that is up to several thousand years old. We take very little water from this aquifer. The middle aquifer is called the Magothy Aquifer, and it contains water that is up to 1,000 years old in its deepest layers underlying the south shore. The majority of water served to SCWA customers comes from the Magothy Aquifer. The shallowest aquifer is called the Upper Glacial Aquifer. Most of the wells that draw from this aquifer serve individual households.
Where did the aquifers come from?
The aquifers were formed 60-65 million years ago by the movement of large masses of ice that covered portions of the earth. These glaciers carved out and piled up sand and gravel, forming the underground aquifers where the water could collect. The glaciers also formed large layers of underground clay masses that separate the three aquifers.
How does the water get into the aquifers?
All the water in our aquifers comes from precipitation -- rain, melted snow, and even melted ice from the glaciers. When it rains, or when snow melts, it slowly works its way through the sandy soil beneath us and into the aquifers where it collects. The sandy soil helps filter and purify the water as it works its way to our aquifers.
How do we get the water from the aquifers?
The Water Authority has approximately 500 wells located throughout Suffolk County. Our wells are anywhere from 100 to 750 feet deep. These wells have large electrically driven pumps that draw water from the aquifers as it is needed. The water is then delivered to large pipes called water mains that deliver it to our customers. Unlike New York City and many of the water suppliers in the tri-state area, our water does not come from reservoirs such as lakes or other large surface water systems.

Our vet said to use bottled water to keep our Pomeranian's fur (around her eyes) clear. She gets Arrowhead bottled water everyday. It definitely works. She's cream colored and the fur area around her eyes would get a rusty color. About a week after using bottled water, the rusty color went away and now the area is clean. The vet never said anything about distilled water. She said bottled water is best because it doesn't contain all the additives put into tap water. All I know it works. :D

Distilled water is the only way to go, because don't have to worry about microbes, viruses and all the nosee-ems. Distilled water helps to eliminate heavy metals which are the cause of many a illness.;)

What kind of dog is that?

For those who like flouride in your water take a look at this. http://www.flouridealert.org/ I grew up with flouridated water and my teeth have a lot of metal inthem now. When I moved and stopped drinking flouride water I stopped getting cavities.
My kids grew up with a flouride rinse and their teeth are fine.

Sorry I call BS, you can find a pro and con for everything. Yes, too much flouride is bad for your teeth, they become discolored but are normally very strong. Kids that are about 25 years and younger have ALOT less cavities than the same age group 50 years ago. Plus flouride does not help your teeth when ingested unless your teeth are forming. Topical flouride like in toothpaste does help reduce the number of caries because it acts like an antimicrobial. If you have a weak spot on your tooth, an area that is "almost" a cavity, flouride can help make that area harder and protect it against the bacteria, ie: sugar, that tries to break down your tooth every second of the day. That is why there is flouride in your toothpaste. Flouride in moderation, I can't remember the parts per million, is very good for you. Not only your teeth but it also helps your bones. How old are you, flouridated water has not been around very long. I'm 34 and I remember doing flouride rinses in school, because we did not have flouride in the water and I lived in the Kansas City area. Sorry about the rant but I've done my share of research on the subject.:D
