CO Hummer 12-13-2005 03:46 PM

I have a set of black tubes steps that have been hanging on my garage wall for 3 years. $75 bucks and they are yours. Only interested in a local pickup - Denver area.

CO Hummer 01-19-2006 05:49 PM

All of the PMs I've been getting have included offers that are way too high. Just thought I'd bump this up to give everyone a fair chance.

Adam in CO 01-19-2006 09:22 PM

I'll take them off your hands for only $75, sure. Bring the money and the steps to me at your convenience.

My conscience wouldn't let me deliver them to a guy like you who wouldn't know how to install them.

CO Hummer 02-02-2006 01:47 AM

Hey folks,
I've had a ton of buyers lined up. After much deliberation I finally selected the lucky winner. However, he just got hit by a meteor, so the steps are available again. Feeling bad about the death and all.. I've droped the price to $50.00. However, with the recent increases in oil prices I'm forced to adjust the going price to $73.99

Please, limit you PMs to me on this item to 3 per day. Thanks for your support.

WhiteH2Kid 02-03-2006 02:59 AM

If you find out how much it is to ship, I'll knock a $1.50 off the price.

That's $72.49 and this offer is valid until 11:30 PM, Pacific Standard Time.

PARAGON 02-03-2006 05:55 PM

Since you are getting rid of the steps, will you need your garage wall anymore? If not, I'll take it.

Dan 02-03-2006 06:00 PM

How are they currently attached to the wall? If via some nifty cool hooks, let me know how much you want for them. I'll throw in some spackle in a ziplock bag to fix the holes.

timgco 02-03-2006 09:22 PM

I bet the step are "duck taped" to the wall.

frank6150 02-03-2006 09:38 PM

I'll give you $48.00, 2 meatballs, a half chewed stick of gum, 1 ply from my 2 ply toilet paper and 14 cheetos. That price includes shipping to the country of Tonga. Thanks.

frank6150 02-03-2006 09:39 PM

Did you ship them yet?

frank6150 02-03-2006 09:41 PM

I'm going to have to revise my offer due to the unfortunate deaths of 6 of the 14 cheetos. In place of the 6 lost souls I am willing to offer you some hair I found while unplugging the shower drain. Thanks.

If it's curly, I'll consider a 2% price reduction.

Actually, I'm going to have to put the sale of the steps on hold for a week or so.

I'm loaning the steps out to the National Ski Patrol for use their H2 recovery vehicle.

frank6150 02-04-2006 01:03 AM

Anybody have a lemon I can borrow till Tuesday?

timgco 02-04-2006 01:46 AM

Alan, I'll trade you for a set of sidesteps. They are hanging in my shed from my 03. They are a little dusty, but new.

I'd consider a trade for your old bumper.

h2co-pilot 02-04-2006 11:59 AM

I will add a Bon Jovi tape, 3 pieces of crunchy snickers from Halloween (saving them because they are that good.), some cigars and a toy helicopter (way bigger than Frank's) to the table.

I will bring these items personally in a couple months to make sure they do not get damaged.

Tempting......

But if you told me you had some of thosde Easter Peeps candies, left out for a couple of months so they get hard and chewy.....I don't think I could have resisted.

Were the snickers kept in the frig/freezer or nay?

PARAGON 02-04-2006 03:09 PM

Nevermind, you said "crunchy." Why screw up a good thing?

Adam in CO 02-04-2006 04:48 PM

Sometimes I get my truck confused with the other black ones. Thank god Ken got rid of his. That narrows it down to me and Doc.

Nay, still in the plastic pumpkin with the handle. Hell, I may throw in some smarties.

CO Hummer 02-05-2006 07:52 AM

I wonder if I can get this classified as turned into a stickie.

frank6150 02-05-2006 07:59 AM

CO Hummer 02-06-2006 03:50 PM

All right, let's get serious people.

These tube steps are primo. They go off my warranty in 12 days, so I gotta move them fast.

I normally don't do this, but I am willing to autograph and blaze my picture on them. I will not increase the price. Serious PMs only, please.

CO Hummer 02-06-2006 05:39 PM

CP just called me and asked that I top this thread.

done.

h2co-pilot 02-06-2006 07:22 PM

Thanx.

KenP 02-06-2006 07:38 PM

Is that a good thing?

CO Hummer 02-06-2006 07:50 PM

Funny.

But on a business note, I had to turn away Alec's offer of a herbs picked from his garden.

The bidding is open again.

CO Hummer 02-06-2006 09:18 PM

GMPartsGuy was going to give me $72.00. But he lost his job, so they are on the market again.

h2co-pilot 02-06-2006 11:46 PM

Great.

CO Hummer 02-07-2006 02:59 AM

Just about had 'em sold.......

Had a guy coming over to pick them up today. However, he peed on an electric fence and fried himself.

So, open for more bids. Business-like PMs only, please.
