Ice Road Truckers
 

Any other white trash addicted to this series on the History Channel? This one should be right up your alley, CP. You'd like the characters.

It focuses on a group of big rig drivers in northern Canada...for a few months each year, the lakes freeze over enough (about 3' thick) to create a road for heavy transport to the diamond mines. There are guys up there hauling up to 100K lbs on the ice - you can hear the ice cracking as they drive over it, and trucks have fallen through. They can only drive 20 MPH or the weight/motion of the truck causes a huge wave under the ice which will eventually bust through. Pretty cool. The guys earn a lot for it - a year's worth of pay in a few months.

Anyways, 9 PM Central time on Sunday nights. Someone (Drew or TJ) supposedly dies next week.

Yeah it did. What'd he say? It was full of garbage, it stunck and the heater didn't work, or something like that?

that was pretty smart when he ran that flexable hose into the cab for some warmth on the last episode . he was all happy after that

It's always Hugh's trucks that are messed up. The guy acts like he's the shizzle but he runs crappy equipment.

DOH i missed it...i've been wanting to watch it, but last sunday was on the paved road back from myrtle at the time it was on....is it as addictive as worlds deadliest catch?

one of my favorite shows is Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe...that show cracks me up!

He's doing well for himself I see with some Ford commercials and narrates a ton of shows.

I like Mike Rowe too he is great. Adam told me once that he sang Opera as well.

Whelp, I saw one of them tewnite, there were 3 on. I saw the one where TJ Tillcox wrecked that guys rig and that poor skinny yellow haired gentleman got kicked out. Very interesting all around.:D

I recorded the others, I couldn't give up my HBO Sunday. I will catch up so don't say who died yet.

I missed the first episode of freaking Shark Week tho!:rant:

I recorded the Shark show! I love the idea of the worst shark attack in history being narrated my Richard Dreyfuss! LOL!

Damn, I just realized I can't even record it. We'll be at my parents house all day, then shooting fireworks before coming home. I'm set to record the race and Entourage. Can't record 3 shows at once.
