I am placing this discussion here because I do not feel it belongs in threads about legitimate Hummer topics. This discussion stems from a comment from a member about my avatar in a thread about CB radios.
It was my opinion that this Hummer Community was to mainly discuss or experiences with our Hummers. This would allow us to share important information that may be of assistance to each of us on an individual level. I can see by the action of several members, that they would rather use this community to bash other members. Although they may think it is funny, it is quite hurtful. I would call some of the actions Hate Crimes! It also seems to me that a moderator should reprimand those members who choose to deviate from the theme and use foul language and type hurtful things to other members. There is one member on this thread who has been here a long time and has targetted me in his (I am assuming DRTYFN, oops mentioned names, is a male). He seems to consider my avatar, which is a representation of who I am, an advertisement of somewhat. Well looking at his avatar, he is representing that he is full of something and spreading that something all over everyone else. I might also mention there a lot of avatars out there which are not appropriate for a Hummer forum. I will be changing my avatar, because i will admit, I sunk to your level. So if you want to bash me, please do it in a PM so not to disrupt the many great members trying to use this community for what it was designed for. Happy Holidays to all! The DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL POLICY should be followed and if you tell, don't get upset with questions or statements. Also, if you are secure enough with yourself some e-bashing shouldn't bother you. I never heard of typed words ever causing harm to someone especially from people you do not know and chances are never will meet. Just a thought!!!

As has been said before, you need to have thicker skin to be in here. If you hadn't of advertised/pushed your sexual preference, you would have been fine here! Braging, indoctrinating and/or snobbishness are not put up with here.
If you want to push something that's important to you then go to a forum where the members there are interested in the same. There are many forums to join that will suit your needs with that! I have my own specific hobbies, etc. but this forum is for Hummer owners that need info and entertainment. I don't and won't push my beliefs/hobbies/etc. on anyone here!! It's as simple as that. You got what you asked for only because you started bitching about other people's opinions when YOU started it! I don't know what DRTY posted but from what I can tell, he was responding to what you had posted first. I have no issue with gays/lesbians. As a matter of fact, I have many friends that are both!
