Our new office space is finally ready so we are moving. What a PITA this is. The worst part is now sitting idle watching the movers. Ugh.

We did get lucky and found a ton of network cabling in the ceiling at the new place. It was even all labeled and matched all the face plates. Saved a ton of time not having to pull cable at the old place and should save a ton of time at the new place.

I'm with you there, setting up is a pain.

We finished relocating 50 people into an open office space. They were getting new computers anyway, so I convinced them to put wireless cards in them. Put in a half dozen access points and I'm outta there. So much simpler. It was $135/cable for drops or $45 for the wireless NIC plus the APs. No brainer. And I got to charge it to facilities! Life is good!

When I moved my brokerage into the building we now own, we pulled literally a mile of CAT6 cable. We've got ports everywhere but the bathroom! We did a gig speed network and it is awesome! Glad to hear you got it moved. Is everything up and running?

It is. It's all my awards and certificates and my licenses. There are a couple of Hummer related items like the autographed pic Rox sent me after I changed all her tie rods.

It is NOT firewater. It's some crap called BAZI that a client of mine tried to get me to drink.

The mugs are not awards. They just hold pens. The pens I don't use or really want but all the vendors think they have to drop on my desk when they come in. In fact, that'show I got mugs.

I do suck at putting. In fact, I suck at golf, in general. I can't find time to play.
