In all my time here, I've never, ever, ever heard of this problem: I have water leaking down the driver's side A-pillar. What could be causing this?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and effort to fix the problem.
Ken

Check your marker lights for a loose one. If that's not it pull the pillar and feel your sunroof drain hose for something that may be blocking it. I've had both happen to me.

If I remember you did run wires down your pillar for the cb so it's possible the sealant you used on the grommet has a small hole in it somewhere.

KenP 03-21-2006 06:43 PM

I don't know how to do any of that stuff. Are there any better, more detailed ideas?

Just throw CP on the roof and let her check the marker lights.

If all else fails use the find button. Noob!

Didn't you recently install a CB and run your antenna wire down the pillar?

Another idea - I had water dripping out of my overhead console this past weekend from a sunroof leak. I imagine if it came out the overhead it could have also come out of the pillar area, especially if the rig was parked at an angle.

No, that wasn't me. Really...

I don't know how to do anything with tools. I'm really very clumsy and need all the guidance I can get.

Thanks for the help, gang.

I didn't pee on yours.

frank6150 03-21-2006 07:20 PM

I'm sure you will.

CJ 03-21-2006 09:52 PM

Throw some silicone on the rubber boot that allows wires to get from your truck to the drivers door. The boot is visible when you open the drivers door. This fixed my leak. The boot was original/unmodified... and leaked:
