H3 Hummer 09-22-2005 09:59 PM

Crap what dealership? I am supposed to be on the mail distro. I have asked and asked and asked.

What date? I haven't seen anything on hummerhappenings.com.

I will be there!

kacyk 09-22-2005 10:16 PM

Hummers of Bellevue, Seattle and Tacoma

October 21st through the 23rd

H3 Hummer 09-22-2005 10:17 PM

Cool thanks for the info. I got mine at Hummer of Bellevue & will give them a call. I appreciate the heads up.

H3 Hummer 09-22-2005 10:18 PM

Did you go to the one in June?

kacyk 09-22-2005 10:23 PM

How much were those mud flaps and the Thule rack?

kacyk 09-22-2005 10:25 PM

No, I've never been to one. With 5 kids including an infant it's been a logisitcal challenge to go anywhere.

H3 Hummer 09-22-2005 10:31 PM

I got the Thule rack for about $250 at G.I. Joes, the mud flaps for abut $70.00 at the dearlership. The mud flaps are easy to put on, I heard the dealership can charge up to $300.00 to do it.

I recommend going to the happening, it is lots of fun and they have experts there and they give away free hummer stuff.

H3 Hummer 09-22-2005 10:36 PM

Check out the link below - I have pictures from the last event there.

wannabeH3 09-23-2005 04:17 AM

Are the mud flaps for all four fenders? Also, is the Thule easy to get on and off? I ripped by kayak rack off my Yukon roof going into the Sea-Tac airport garage!

wannabeH3 09-23-2005 06:09 AM

mudflaps are 79 bucks from the dealer for all 4...

Can't fit a family of 7 in the H3. It's too far to take both cars.

H3 Hummer 09-23-2005 10:56 PM

So I went to the dealership today and got the reservation with the passcode on it.

It looks to me that you need to reserve a room a minimum of two days. That is close to $400.00 at least. I really just want to go saturday.

Maybe if some hot chicks were going it would be worth it the other two days. My wife doesn't like to drive on the rocks with me so she is out.

What do you guys think?

I think they hinder themselves by making people stay at the lodge.

H3 Hummer 09-23-2005 10:57 PM

I should have said, I think they hinder themselves by making people stay at the lodge or at least pay for the non-refundable reservation.

Gun Oil 09-26-2005 01:06 AM

HMMMMMMMMMMM........Hope you all realize this is the closing weekend of Deer season! Winthrop will be a VERY busy place!

Keep your eyes and ears open!!

wannabeH3 09-26-2005 05:26 AM

h3 you didnt try to register all the way did you? you only have to get a room for one night.. i got the suite! if you wanna come you can kick down like 70 bucks or so and stay in my room and we can get drunk and rowdy! its gonna be me and my hot girlfriend, and my buddy chris, but hes broke and can sleep on the floor if you pay! haha supposedely there is a king bed and a twin bed in my room... DRTY you gonna come to this? you should.....

oh yeah goin friday night and leavin sat night

H3 Hummer 09-26-2005 07:17 PM

cool. I think if I bunk with you I wouldn't be registered for the event and therefore can't drive.

I think I will register for one night. But I will take you up on the beer and getting rowdy.

Does your girlfriend drive on the trails with you? My wife hates it but may go and not drive with me.

H3 Hummer 09-27-2005 06:43 PM

I register for 1 day today. I got the Patterson - loft (suite)

I think is a cabin so we should be close.

H3 Hummer 10-03-2005 06:57 PM

Has anyone else signed up for this yet?

wannabeH3 10-05-2005 06:44 AM

im gonna try and make my gf drive it this time .. i know she doesnt like it much but if i hit her she might do it

H3 Hummer 10-05-2005 11:29 PM

I think I can get my wife to just go to the campground. No way she will even drive with me or drive the truck.

She drove over those humps at Liberty, that was fun.

H3 Hummer 10-16-2005 10:06 PM

I am surprised that this post is dead, anyone going out there?

Burnie 10-18-2005 02:29 PM

I'll be there - looking forward to seeing what my H3 will do.

Will do or can do. Since Wannabe will be there in his H3 it Will do just about anything but what it can do is another story. From the last Hummer Happening I went to, the can surprised a lot of people.

Burnie 10-18-2005 05:49 PM

More like what I'm willing to do with my H3. For instance, it CAN roll over, but I'm not planning on trying ;-)

H3 Hummer 10-19-2005 12:34 AM

Yeah, I got ya. I don't plan on seeing if mine will float. I will have someone else try that first.

What color you have? Let me know if you are interested in playing some cards, we are staying in the cabins.

wannabeH3 10-19-2005 01:14 AM

ill float mine!

H3 Hummer 10-19-2005 01:25 AM

I new you would volunteer.

Gun Oil 10-19-2005 04:39 AM

Well......

We bought ours tonight!!!!

Slate Blue, Ebony & Morocco interior, fully optioned!!!

We are getting our invite packet tomorrow, and we will try to attend....sounds like a blast!

wannabeH3 10-19-2005 05:01 AM

sweet! i guess ill let you sink yours, ive already done it like 3 times so i dont mind lettin ya do it

Burnie 10-19-2005 05:10 PM

Yeah, I didn't order the flotation option, so I don't think I'll be trying that one.

I have a Victory Red with a matching hard spare tire cover, "Burnie" license plates. Look forward to meeting all of you.

H3 Hummer 10-19-2005 08:13 PM

Victory red also with the luggage rack on top.

If I am not in the truck look for the skiniest punk kid in the county.

wannabeH3 10-20-2005 09:19 AM

holy crap i didnt realize winthrop was so damn far away! i almost dont wanna go :P i guess when you ride there on your motorcycle it only takes one hour cuz you go like 200 mph, but its gonna be grueling in the h3.. i am only staying fri-sat too

H3 Hummer 10-20-2005 01:38 PM

We could get to Canada a lot faster.

We will probably have to fill up once to get there and when we get there and again when we get back. Sweet!

Miguel, I don't know if our cell phones will work up there but if you want to bring your buddies and make havoc at the cabin I am staying at let me know.

Gun Oil 10-20-2005 01:49 PM

4.5 hours from Woodinville with a quick gas stop.....doing the speed limit!

Verizon is the only cell service in the Wintrop area that seems to get coverage....

Enjoy your trip, our plans changed and we can't attend! Sounds like a great program.
