New Pedals

Dan 07-07-2004 04:12 PM

Definitely shiney!

Looks a little unhappy on those tires though

frank6150 07-07-2004 04:48 PM

Yes you need a little more meat on them rims. It is damn clean though.

1BADH2 07-07-2004 05:53 PM

More Tire

ChuckTu 07-07-2004 05:58 PM

Understood...it's only temporary though as the stockers go back on it for the winter...that should satisfy the request for more tire...

I figured I would get some flack for the wheels but to each his own...just felt like finally posting pics of my H2

I figured they were just training wheels.

Seriously, it's your truck - Run what you like!

HGW 07-07-2004 07:20 PM

The rubberbands around the rims need to be bigger. Otherwise, nice truck--like the rims.

frank6150 07-07-2004 11:20 PM

I wasn't bashing you in the least, I think the truck looks good, just needs a little more tire to really look mean.

DRTYFN 07-07-2004 11:37 PM

Nice dead pedal. Where'd you get it.
Why the third pedal? Feel the need to push in a clutch?

Kevin B 07-08-2004 02:00 AM

Would that be the E-brake or the leg-lock pedal .

BTW why the off road lights with the asphalt package?

Chuck- if you like it thats all that matters . Thanks for sharing.

discofever 07-08-2004 03:06 AM

My roller blades have more rubber than your wheels... change out the wheels and tires... Put some Meat on that adventure package...

ChuckTu 07-08-2004 10:57 AM

Thanks for the comments guys, positive and not so positive (but far from bashing)...

The pedals are from a place called Autovation. I helped out with the development of them so I am pretty proud with how they turned out.

As far as the offroad lights go...I live out in the country with not a whole lot of light and a whole lot of deer...so they definitely come in handy to light up the potential dangers. Plus you never know when I'll have the desire to just pull off one of those country roads (with my winter wheels of course) and go driving through a field; and I'd like to see where I'm going

DRTYFN 07-08-2004 11:34 AM

If you want to see where you're going then I suggest you swap out those weak lights for something with substantially more candle power. At the very least, change the bulbs to some SilverStar bulbs. You might as well change the headlight bulbs to. The SilverStars are a BIG improvement over stock.

ChuckTu 07-08-2004 12:17 PM

I am all for upgrading the lights...was worried about changing the headlights to anything else for fear of losing light instead of gaining...but I'll take your word for it on the Silverstars.

Do you guys have a list of what all the replacement bulbs are? Headlights, turn signals, DRL, etc.?

1BADH2 07-08-2004 05:58 PM

Silverstars are about $20 bucks, DRTY is right I havce them and they are better than stock.

Kevin B 07-08-2004 10:37 PM

Sorry Chuck, due to a possible threat of flaming, no part #'s are allowed to be posted...........................EVER AGAIN ! (notice the smile ).

frank6150 07-08-2004 10:47 PM

Careful N2 that could be considered redundant since it has been mentioned already and that would constitute being flamed as well!

.....................................,,GET IT!..........................

ChuckTu 07-09-2004 10:42 AM

ooooooook then....I guess I'll just take my best guess?

I've found the headlight and DRL #'s in what else, but the manual, duh!...was just wondering if replacable, what the bulb in the 2 stock off road lights is and how would you go about changing it?

Kevin B 07-09-2004 12:54 PM

Chuck, I just TRIPLE checked the part #'s on the Sylvnia Silverstar lights (head lights not DTL's). The ones I used are 9007ST. They fit the right side and the left .

BTW I got the part number off the package not out of a book .

Dan 07-09-2004 04:22 PM

N2ITINSD - you douchebag, ****head, asswipe, fartknocker. That is the correct part number! Idiot.

Kevin B 07-09-2004 06:06 PM

Dan, don't start with me G-tard. I have a loan out on my house, my Dad bought my Hummer for me AND gave me everything I own.

Besides, Klaus gave me that part # .
