well pulled the grill today and had the line-x coating applied pretty simple mod thanks kenp for the tips , line-x guy wants me to take truck back for pics heres a few of truck apart and after install

it was only $81.00 and that was with tax so am very happy its the most affordable mod i have found for a HUMMER

thanks guys will take more tomorrow and post . the line-x guy charged $1.00 per pump of the machine it took 76 . when i first spoke with him he thought 60 or so . he also sprayed the back and rapped all the edges around . removing the grill myself also saved some .

Like the look. Thinking about doing ours also and adding a chrome guard to the front. Any other prep to the grill prior to application?

Much better, chrome grills make too nice a reflector for laser guns

It has to be something stronger. Also let me know about the 21st. I am all available and if anyone wants to caravan, I am comming from the 210 and 57 Fwys.Let me know.

That stuff will scrape off on the skidplate. It has been done already. If you scuff it up and paint it black, you can always touch it up down the road.

hey BABHUMV not sure if wheels will be here , they said 2-3 weeks and that was last wed. i may just want to use stock wheels for clearance issues , just worried about tire contact with front fenders in gnarly situations wont be an issue once i level or lift thought about blacking the emblems but will probably leave that little bit of bling on . what time do we need to leave santa barbara to make hollister on time ? just need to let darla know how early she needs to get up we need to leave here (conejo valley) about an hour before SB meet up . i will pm you our cell # for more planning . are you up for both days ? darla and i are making a weekend of this trip .

i went to the line-x website and found the guy here in the conejo valley they should have one listed for your neck of the woods . skid plate would look cool but would get scratched off like timgco stated . after seeing his black one im thinking of painting the embossed h3 emblem green and rest of plate black might be cool we could meet up here in the thousand oaks area and convoy up .

timgco you caught that i read it a couple times and didant even notice nothin gets past the timgco your new skidplate looks great did you ever find out if it was the new accessorizing line of hummer stuff h3x or something like that ?
