Just checking....anyone receive a free gas card or cards??????

Just checking casue the other day (I believe last Thursday feb 9th (was my Bday ) i received 2 fedex packages from hummer. Opened and inside each was one debit card good for $500.00 each. This normal???? I checked...double checked..and checked again
(triple) to make sure wasnt some bogus trap. Isnt and now I got a cool grand of free gas. Cant beat that

Used them on a weekend getaway so they do work

Thanks Wax...not sure. had to go online to GM site...put in last 6 digits of Vin, then vooola....free gas. Just says you cannot use to get cash or anything else. I understand your post, but you mentioned that you went to the GM site and put in your VIN... What part of the site did you go to?

I also received the free gas! A cool Grand! Ordered first week of September, took delivery on October 25th! They didn't want to let the little cards go, but after a good talk'n' too, they gave up the goods!

Should we expect this on our birthdays if we purchased prior to Oct.31, 2005? I bought my Birch White Adventure at the end of July.

OK so an update on how to find the site or promotion or process would be helpful. I called my dealer and they said that it was for those who would have been "on the fence" as an incentive. Well I was committed so they never offered it to me. WTF?

I want to know how I can get in on the deal and call my dealer to let them know that I am not happy about paying full boat, flying 2000 miles to pick it up, and still getting flogged by them on the price.

BTW, I still love my Hummer though.

I bought mine in august no promotions.I did buy before price increase.

I didn't make it, bought mine 10/21/05 - Dealer was unaware of promo until I tried to get a card today. So for the rest of you and good luck...

So us early buyers are getting screwed again?

First the DVD's, now the gas cards. This blows.

Yea that sucks, but we've enjoyed our trucks longer, for what thats worth.

The thing that upsets me most was I specifically asked the dealer what colors were coming out in 2007 and he made a "call" and told me no changes in colors. I love the Superior Blue I got but the Desert Orange would be my perfect vehicle. But I did get the DVD players and my H3 was before the price increase so it was almost a grand cheaper than the exact same black one with a later build date. My dealer really hooked me up when he explained that on to me.

I didn't get anything!! no gas card or free stuff... wtf .. bought mine mid August 05.

I got mine in June of 2005. But I got free(4) BFG All Terrians out of it!! It was a dealer install from a sister dealership and they forgot to include it on the price. WOOT!
I'll take what I can get. But free gas would be awesome!

That free gas card would have been nice. I bought my H3 July 2nd. Still enjoying it today!

Got mine in June also it sucks all the free or discounted stuff that was not offered to us. I love my H3 but that free gas would come in handy.

Got mine in June 2005 also, and it was full sticker price and nothing free (they did throw in three free oil changes I've never used). That's pretty normal in the automotive business when you buy a high demand vehicle when it first comes out. You pay the price for being first, but IMHO it was worth it!
