Gone in 60 Seconds (1974).

Ipedog 01-09-2006 10:45 AM

Without a doubt, and without hesitiation:

The Blues Brothers (1980)

tanklizard 01-09-2006 12:24 PM

The Driver (1978).

Hummertech 01-09-2006 12:27 PM

The Blues Brothers is a good chase scene.
I also like ones that don't have a lot of never could happen in a million years effects. That's why Bullitt and Ronin top my list.

jfox 01-09-2006 01:18 PM

This is my vote for best chase scene.

Foot chase in Point Break. I love when Swayze throws a dog on Reeves.

HIHUMMER 01-09-2006 03:19 PM

Elwood:"They have everything in this mall"

GeorgeSSSS 01-09-2006 05:37 PM

The best best lead-in line that preceded the best chase:

Elwood Blues: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake Blues: Hit it.

Shakespeare is jealous.

Ill have to go with demolition man .

There is a chase scene near the end of the movie featuring a '70 Olds 442 driven by Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock's characters'chassing down a futuristic Police Cruiser that was driven by Wesley Snipes character.

Still gotta go with 93 cars wrecked in 40 minutes! Lots of muscle cars... Including police Mopars.

TootsSUT 01-12-2006 02:05 PM

Everyone is talking about cars. The first movie that came to my mind was Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.

GLBLWARMR 01-12-2006 02:10 PM

I liked the main chase scene from Bad Boys 2.

I have come across that movie a few times and stopped to watch that scene. Wrong color but got to love the '70 442.

Klaus 01-12-2006 03:31 PM

You 442 fans should watch this video. Click this link, then click "Stay the Night".

fourfourto 01-12-2006 05:00 PM

I like the donuts the 442 does them very well.I sometimes go to a empty parking lot and rip a few off.I love the smell of rubber.I dont use the 442 often but when I do I tear up the road . Thanks again Klaus.
These days you have to be carefull if the cop writes the ticket up for "participating in a speed contest" its a felony and they take and keep yoour car if you are convicted.

By the way my wife didnt get ugly just older. As with fine wines she improves with age.

Is that the married with children actress when she was younger ?
