You think the housing market is different...  Wait until the state of VA gets a hold of your pay check If that isn't enough, Dec. 5th if I recall is personal property tax day. Everything you own get's taxed right before you have X-mas. Been there, done that & the state got my t-shirt...LOL LC |

Anything you plan on putting on the road with a plate...even off-road vehicles will be registered at the time of purchase. I moved out 15 years ago, but I doubt they changed any taxation laws since then I've never heard of them reversing them! Have you??? Other than that VA is a great state...I spent20 years there LC |

Winters aren't bad at all...I burned 7-9 chords a year, just depended on the extent of the cold. The summer's will kill you...just like Texas. ( I don't care what anyone tells you, it gets HOT there too!!! Your earlier comment about your next ex-wife??? Don't marry anyone from there either...to the tune of 80K after it was said & done LC PS...could you please choke that biotch for me if you see her? |

I'm getting acclimated to the area. Although, it's surpising how lost you can get after a few too many beers in a new town! After 3 hours of driving around, and 3 stops at the same 7-11 (twice to pee and once for a killer burrito!) I finally found my apartment! I feel right at home! |
