Another AC issue

Hi All

I have an AC problem and I have the following codes: B0229 and B0148

I seems like it's the recirc actuator that's not working, but I'm not sure it fits the symptoms which are hot air in drivers side and cold air i passenger side no matter what the settings are on the ac control.

When I press the recirc button the the AC control the small lamp blinks a few times and then turnes off again.

I tried to do a recalibrate with the Tech2, but same issue

Thanks again

What year is it. Could be a calibration update for hvac module

There is a programming update for code b0229, b0148 is not a valid dtc number. This update may or may not fix the issue only way to tell would have it done at dealer

Hi Humtech

I looked at the code again and I made a typo, the second code is not B0148, the correct code is B0418

Hi All

Took the dash apart today and did a recalibration with the tech2. Now the B0418 is gone and I can see the blend door actuator moving (the one on top of the hvac unit).

But I still have the B0229 and the recirc actuator is not moving at all. I have still not taken it out, but I'm planning to disasemble it to see if it can be fixed before I order another one.

Spareparts here in Denmark are high priced, so I will order it from the US, but it will take a week to get here.

I have not driven the H2 yet, so I havn't tried to see if this actually solved the problem with hot air in the passenger side and cold in the drivers side, but I keep my fingers crossed.

Regards
Rene
