Cluster Dials

The cluster dials on my 2003 H2 suddenly stopped working. A few days later the electric power to my front passenger door, window, door lock and side mirror also stopped working. I have been told that there is a recall for this problem with 2003 H2's.
Has anyone had this problem?

Stepper motors are a common issue with all H2's. They are easily replaced if you have some decent soldering skills. Many youtube vids out there on replacing them.

As for the door power, did you try disconnecting the positive battery cable for 10-15 minutes? I do not believe they two are related. Also check all your fuses in both the engine compartment and the driver side interior fuse panel.

Odd...my battery was dead yesterday and it's only been parked since Tuesday. Drivers side window and rear passenger window same side stopped working as well...hmmmm....2003 model, really odd.

while i was off on my 2 week yearly military vacation, i had my whole cluster gauges sent off and replaced all the stepper motors in it, as well as all the lights replaced with LED's.

total cost was under $100

i had been driving around for a few months with no speed or RPM.
other gauges seemed to be working properly.

not sure what to tell you about the windows. i doubt the 2 are related, but who knows.. it could all go through the ECM or something along that line and tie together somewhow

Replaced Red top Optima and had the same problem immediately. Realized it was a loose NEG battery cable :giggling:
