I was looking for a thick tube brush guard like the one below but there is no way in hell I will pay 3k for it.

Any suggestions on other thick tubed brush guards or where I can get a cheap one of these without the winch?

ROADARMOUR is good quality. You have to pay for good quality.

I was also lured by the style of this bumper/brush guard. So I bought one and when the first bumper came It didn't fit, when the second one came it also didn't FIT:mad: NOTE TO SELF: Never call Road Armor!! unless you want to get jerked around.
I called Adventure Accesories numerous times, and they didn't want me calling anymore. I ended up getting most of my money back, it only took 9 months to get it straight, in the end I will find a local metal fabricator to correct what they couldn't build correctly to start with. Good Luck!

Thanks for the responses. Roadarmour is definitely out then.

Depends what you want it for. Do you want it for looks and to fend off brush, or do you want to bounce off rocks? Don't see many rocks here in South Florida so I installed this one, bought off ebay $400.00. 2" Dia tube, 50lbs. Ram Offroad. If you are going to play in the Moab or the Rockies, then you should pay the money for one that connects to the frame like the RA.

That paticular brush guard gives the Hummer a mean (dont F@ck with me look). I didnt know it attached to the frame and I am assuming now it costs substantially more than $500. The standard bars are nice but doesnt stand out as much as I like to.

Thanks for sharing the updates with roadarmour.
