Besides thats a full throttle kit on that thing AKA GARBAGE LIFT!! If you want to go big you gotta get a bulletproof suspension kit.

What's so bad about them?

Re: Lifted 9"

I'm not sure I can tell you the exact reason that these are bad lifts, but I had one and sold it to Seth Petruzelli (yes, the UFC fighter), and he had nothing but problems with it. I felt so bad. Thankfully, he's super nice and didn't kick my ass.

I have the Fabtech kit on my truck, and you can definitely tell the difference. And their customer service is terrible at best.

Re: Lifted 9"

A while back they had alot of there kits weld beads cracking under "stress" I even had a rep tell me one time that they were not meant to be used for serious off roading???? WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF PUTTING A LIFT ON IT IF YOUR NOT WHEELING IT???:twak:

Go with bulletproof kit if your going big. They are by no means cheap but are well worth the spent coin!!!

How does the Bulletproof 12" kit compare to the Cognito 10-12" kit? Anyone...

Re: Lifted 9"

Bullet Proof has a good kit that can be brought easily back to factory specs (no need to cut diff mounts). The kit does need better instruction for installation though but I gave a call to them and everything was much clearer.

Re: Lifted 9"

Cognito is good to sorry for not mentioning them, and I do believe the kit already includes the steering support kit everyone here has bought which is excellent. I guess the difference between them is the price but it is only a mere couple difference. Given a choice I would go with the bullet but get a cognito steering kit with it.
