Anyone running a thule box on trips?

Anyone think the word Thule sounds like a gay guy saying "stool?"

Thought about it, but seems like a huge PITA and I think it would feel like your flying a big azz kite on the roof. But the additional cargo space would be welcome, especially when you travel with 3 girls and all the crap they bring!

It really is said as "TOO-LEE". However before I knew that I called them THOOL racks all the time!

Exactly what I am getting ready for! My wide, daughter and black lab - also female.

I can see the need for one. My H3 is filled with Ipe, Reed, wife, me, and the associated crap. If we add more either Ipe will need to share the cargo area, or I'll be adding a box (or wining a GOBI - Please! Please! Please! GOBI Gods, I've been good, I promise! ).

I don't know why, but I've always been partial to Yakima equipment. Maybe its the US vs Sweedish made thing...

I use a Yakima box for snowboarding trips to hold the boards. Those boxes are VERY handy.
