500K/second download now available without using Bittorrent. It's a regular download! This is the LOW RESOLUTION VERSION not the DVD IMAGE

In an act of EXTREME generousity, Kyle at http://www.hummercommunity.com has started hosting the low-res Paragon video file.

The download is very fast and does not require any Bittorrent client.

Fasten seatbelt and click here:

After 24 hours of trying to download this, it was only 1/2 done. I shut it off.

You have my address. Thanks for doing this. It is much appreciated.

Must be the Vegas connection -- I got the thing to download. Wow! What a video!

Congrats to shipbldr for making it up that trail. Can't believe you didn't have more damage than the bumper. And the skid plate. And the exhaust. Everything else underneath okay?

That Dan's SUT?

If I ever get to wheel where it's wet, note to self: Turn on wipers before entering water hole.

Looks like you guys had a blast! Appreciate you spending the time to put together the video.

That was a long download.

What trails did you run? One trail looked like Headless Horseman.

Turtle (down)
Rock Meadow
Rock Swamp

There's more, I just can't find the map!

CslRkH2 09-03-2005 12:44 PM

That was pretty cool! Looks like you guys had a blast.

What media did you use to record? What software did you use to edit?

drmiles 09-04-2005 03:43 PM

Thanks, I enjoyed the video. looks like a heck of alot of fun

VTSTOMPER 09-04-2005 03:52 PM

I downloaded it at work - took most the day.

Then I went home without it. I will have to watch it when I go back to work on lunch or something.

Trails we ran where:

101
Turtle (Down)
Outer Spare Tire
Rocky Meadow
Logging Trail
Rocky Swamp
Voodoo
Pipeline

and a trail off coal that I can never remember the name of. Its 15 and a very cool short trail with loads of off-camber action

KenP 09-04-2005 09:21 PM

I have some good incar of that little trail.

Is that blue painters tape?

Voempe 09-05-2005 02:23 PM

I just finished downloading the zipfile (using a download accelerator) at an avarage speed of 300Kb/sec. Pretty descent, regarding the fact I live across the ocean.

What the heck are you guys, living practically inside that server, complaining about?

Is that blue painters tape? </div></BLOCKQUOTE> I have the GOBI and the blue painter's tape with the stripe. Oldhiker doesn't have the stripe, or GOBI. I actually copied his idea for the tape and added the stripe for style points. He's been using it as long as I've known him.

The painter's tape doesn't hold up as well as the FrostKing. The blue worked fine for the weekend and held everything in place perfectly. However, an extended time of moisture, i.e.: rain and deep water, would cause it to come off.

The blue tape also isn't as tough. No branches penetrated it, but it would give way before the FrostKing.

I installed the shields Fri night, and removed them Mon morning. There was no residue to remove. Everything came off clean and the tape held great over the 6 hour drive home.

With all that said, I'll be using the blue tape from now on. Hopefully I can find a different color for the next trip.

Hi Ken,

I was watching the video at Paragon this weekend with one of the Jeep guys.

He saw the blue stripe on the side of yours and asked about it. I told him it was because yours was a Lingenfelter. He said oh... I see.

Then he repeated it to the guys he was wheeling with.

Now, apparently, it is common knowledge that Lingenfelter H2's can be spotted by the blue stripe....
