I had the exact same thing, it was causing numbness by putting pressure on the nerve. I had to have surgery to remove it. Now I have nice "Z" scar to lie about.

I was kinda lucky. Mine went away with time. It didn't bother me either then I realized it was gone, long after I'd forgotten about it. Unless it becomes an issue, ignore the damned thing.
