Anybody have paint peeling between the rear plastic bumper cover and the paint? mine is tight where the rubber part is between the body and bumper on the rear corners of the truck.

No...haven't noticed any on mine. Is it really peeling or wearing off?

Battlebugs 04-14-2005 01:05 AM

Not on mine either. Your's is how old?

Andre 04-14-2005 03:47 AM

Mine is an 03, looks like it is wearing and now peeling, should be a warranty issue (i hope)

Hey Andre, could you be specific? Exactly where is this happening so I can check it out tomorrow.

Andre 04-14-2005 05:03 AM

If you look at the back of your truck right on the corner, there is a rubber part that covers the gap where the plastic bumper part meets the body.

OK, no problem here. Maybe someone with a few more miles?

Andre 04-14-2005 09:51 AM

Andre, I have the same problem in the same spot. I also have some rust above the left tow hook in the back.

Andre 04-23-2005 05:01 PM

Glad i'm not the only person, i don't think i have the rust above the tow hook though (take a better look later). did you talk to you dealer about this yet? i havent had the chance to call mine yet.

I'm do for an oil change soon. When I get that done I'll ask them about it. I'm sure it must be covered. I would like someone that I know paint it instead of them. That way I know it's done right.
