Next time you hit that "sticky area", I want to see you take the line on the left.

We watched some CJ's do it, no sweat. This guy had some trouble.

My pleasure, Alec. I really do enjoy that Left Hand Canyon area. I hope we can all go again soon. Sandra has given me some great trail ideas for next time.

Very nice pics!
Enjoy the terrain out there in CO-- I'm envious. Stuck in IL, Frank gasman |
Did that Jeep make it, or did he have to back down? He looks pretty crossed up right there. That hill looks alot easier with the Hummer on it.
How about you, did you get all the way to the top? |
You're right, the hill DOES look decieving. In that first pic of the hill, the left lane looks harder than the right.
And you're right, it IS a bit freaky when you start lifting wheels. It's okay though, if you keep going forward slowly, eventually that wheel will touch back down to earth. Especially if you have the rear locker engaged, the rearend will just keep pushing you up the hill till the front tire touches back down. Ever wheel with an H1? It seems like just about every pic I've seen of H1's wheeling have been of them with at least one, or sometimes even two wheels in the air. |
That's a great photo, Alec. I had almost forgotten about that guy. Took him quite a while to get up that hill.
