I notice that Manik has rocker bars for $167.The description say the are made out of 2 inch tubler steel.The Oem has the same desciption but cost $530.Anybody know what the big difference in price is for.

OEM! the manik one is junk VS OEM. The only reason I say this is where it mounts to the frame. The OEM is way more solid. I know you plan on off roading and if you are looking for protection, I would go with the OEM or custom made over the Manik.
![]() TIP 1: THE OEM is very stable and easy to mount and was designed by the manufact. to work and support the entire weight of the vehicle. (and it does) The Manik is not with only two mounting points vs four on the OEM. TIP 2: Tell them to match the price of $458 and install it yourself. That's what I paid for mine from the dealer. I just did a small writeup on the install. TIP: 3 I took your advice on quality for TIPS and am installing the SMA exhaust. ![]() good luck. Tim. |

I am not sure about the Manik but the OEM are actually two bars and I think the Manik is one.

I just installed the OEM bars last night. Very solid as Tim said, and I've seen them in action.
His write-up was very helpful but they're still a PITA to install by yourself. ![]() BTW. I got my dealer to swap out my steps for the rails. Connections = good. ![]() |

I'm a bit confused as I bought the Manik bars but I was comparing them to the OEM tubular bars and didn't see that much of a difference. The OEM tubular bars at the dealer also only had two mounts and I just looked it up on the internet to confirm. Having said that, the Manik bars are not as nice as the OEM black flat bars which do have four mounts. One of the pads on my Manik bars cracked so I think I'm going to buy the OEM flat bars which do appear much better.
