k i know nothing about car stereo equipment basically... but i do know what i want... i want a pair of 12 inch subs and i am curious as to what are a reasonably priced pair but high quality and what kind of amp to go with it...sorry if im annoying but thank you everyone for your imput

Rockford Fosgate and Pioneer make good subs. I would also look at amps from them as well. RF is going to cost you more, but either way they'll sound great.

Fosgate blows now, they use to have good stuff. If I were you and I am not, but I would go with a set of JL 12W6 or 12W7 and 2 500 JL mono channel amps for each one in a nice tight enclosure, nothing will be able to touch that sound quality, not even Fosgate....Total for subs, amp, box, installation should be about $4000..... Good luck

I have to agree with Zero on the subs. I have had the 12's and there are the greatest. Amps I am not sure about JL. I had PPI (Precision Power) they make some great amps. Those are some of the top companies. And also as Zero stated they are going to cost. But it does cost to have the finer things in life!!
