2 full turns, looks much better - esp with my new wheels and tires and didn't notice any difference in ride quality. A very easy way to make the H3 look better.

Hey, what happened to the urban assualt vehicle look!!

NEOCON1 05-03-2006 11:05 AM

i only went 2 turns Bebe went 2 and a half , so it still has a little assault look goin on

Will ask Ireene if she still doesn't mind if I raise the truck. If ok, will probably have it done early next week. They said $59 to turn and do the alignment. This at the tire dealer that put on the toyo's.

Gotta follow bebe and neo

My big loong rack is being shipped today

If you have less then 7500 miles and what the adjustment either adjust it before you take it to the dealer or if you are on good terms with dealer take it in to have that "pull" looked at and have them do the adjust and align. Alignments are under warranty till 7500 miles

Not if you change tires. At least that is what my dealer told me

Even though I went from the 265's to the 285's which would be the adventure size tire, my dealer is 3 1/2 hours away one way.

I rarely get to see my dealership

NEOCON1 05-04-2006 12:19 AM

west you will be fine having the tire guy do it for you , i know of three people that have had theres checked and all was in spec. after they put the new front diff in mine my steering wheel is turned about 1/16 of a turn to the left . thats what i want fixed . they were so concerned about getting us on the road back to cali , and it drives totaly straight i dont mind waiting to get the wheel back to perfectly straight , so thought it was a good time to crank it up . since they will be straightening the steering wheel , they might not even notice

westhillsat 05-04-2006 12:49 AM

Cool, I will probably have it done next week, unless they can work me this Friday

HummerNewbie 05-04-2006 12:49 PM

I agree with NEO, you can have a tire shop do it. If you have a Firestone service center near you, check into the lifetime alignment. I am going to get one from them so I can go back every time I wheel and get it checked for free

As far as going from 265's to 285's, not sure. I think it only has to do with stock or not. I stayed with 285's but a different brand and that was why they wouldn't do the alignment.
