This is very tragic, but thankfully it wasn't an H2 that was involved.

Thats why I have a back up camera on my H2. Better Aim.

barbender 10-24-2003 10:54 AM

Seriously, I have a beach condo on Daytona Beach. Sometimes its like playing Frogger just to get to the water.

The Escalade has the sonar sensors on the rear and it is slick. You do not even have to look when you back up. Just listen. All SUV's should have this option. I'd love to have it in the H2.

Had that been an H2 it would have made national news and we would have been vilified even more.

Same thing happened in St. Augustine three years. A driver in a Toyota 4Runner ran over two sunbathing teenager from Pa. then fled the scene. He turned himself in later, stating he didn't know he ran over anything or anybody.

Families sued and was awarded 17.5 million.

My backup camera is going in soon. I just need to find the LCD I like for in the overhead.

Cheers

DennisAJC 10-24-2003 05:11 PM

Almost everyone puts the LCD right beside the rear view mirror. It's the most logical if you're backing up.

I may put it there. However, I am also looking into making the forward glasses compartment door fold down automatically when the truck is in reverse (I do not have a sunroof). That way it is not in visable when not needed.

Cheers

John,

Anyone who has a Lowered Nissan Pathfinder needs to be tied up, twizzle whipped, re-circumcized, and bitch-slapped.

That`s ANNOYING! Don`t poke at losers like DRTY (To Hell buddy!) and expect anyone to side with a bung hole who has a sig like that.
