Does anyone know if I could install an OEM rear air suspension complete assembly on an '03 H2 that did not come with one? Does it just involve removing the rear springs and installing the air shocks, the compressor assembly and wiring....and is it worth it??

I am thinking no. There is programming that controls the air and it would be questionable if that would be available due to your VIN. In any case you would have to get the dealer to update your truck with a Tech II.
You also have to install the sensors and the control button for the air to raise while in 4low. |

The ones I've seen allow you to manually control the pressure in them, and there are two pressure guages that would need to be mounted in the cab. Actually, we have this system mounted on an Excursion and it works very well for load leveling. The airbags are mounted next to the leaf springs. |
Thanks to all who responded. I think I will leave that idea to rest and move on to what else obsesses me for my Humdinger.
