Was just at dealer today for service, and about half of the H3's have the grills color matched to the truck? Has anyone else seen this? Actually made the truck look cheap....at least I think so...what about everyone else?

I see there is a trend to dark out the grill . I perfer the chrome grill me self

the only one I have seen that I really like is in white with the white grill ...

They had Red, White and Superior Blue....all of them were matched on the grill...I like the black grill on a rig, but not the matched like these.

Made it look smaller.

Anybody got any pics with the colormatched grills?

I think a better question would be:

Where did they get them from, how much, and what are the part numbers?

I have seen an H3 that had the front and rear bumper and grill all painted the same color as the truck. Can't remember where I saw it. I didn't hate it probably just takes some getting used to.

I like the chrome and I've got plenty on my H3. But I understand how those that are trying to blackout or go all one color will want to eliminate all chrome. Then the painted grill really works.

NJHummer: ask your dealer what the scoop is. Maybe they are just pimping some rides. The dealer here in Silicon Valley does lots of trick Hummers but the I have not seen the painted grill on H3s yet.

The color matched grille from the factory will be out soon. Every one I've seen has been painted by a body shop.

Mine has a back painted grille.

I think they will make this an option in the next couple of years.
