Since day one. Should be normal.

thats about where mine runs , you would get all the warning lights and buzzers if it got too hot
|
I've got about 10,000 miles on mine and it has been running around the same point.
|
Sounds normal for my H3 too.

If mine went below that, I'd be getting nervous.

That's exactly where my needle has always been. In the winter, my needle will sit at the 40% point and half way the rest of the time. Once, going through the Eisenhower Tunnel on I- 70 in July on an 81 degree day at 11,100 feet AND with the AC on, I saw the needle push towards two-thirds, but no warnings, buzzers,or boiling over and the H3 ran just fine.

Mine sits the same, but here's a wierd one. When I'm on the freeway and stomp on the gas, the tranny kicks down and the temp gauge drops - if I keep it floored, the temp will go all the way down to 'cold' - I let off the gas, temp goes back up to regular.
I called the dealer and he said he hasn't seen that before, but tried a couple others and they did the same thing. Anyone else have this happen? |
