Nobody that knows me calls my house phone so i know its a telemarketer at least 90% of the time. Instead of getting pissed at these people calling me at all times i found a way to have fun. Do not call list? No way, telemarketers are way too much fun.

Ebaumsworld has a list of soundboards...from Judge Judy to Homer Simpson. Next time a telemarketer calls, put your cordless phone on speaker phone, use your desired soundboard and laugh like your a kid!

I like letting them go through the whole speel....and then say no and then let them go through all the rebuttles and 2nd chance offers, etc......and then say, sorry i don't have a job nor any money so my answer is still NO!

I have the "disconnected number" SIT tone in the beginning of our answering machine greeting. A free Telezapper if you will. Works great!

I feel they are wasting my time . So i tell them "Yes i'm interested , just let me grab the other phone. One second" Then i set the phone down on counter and go on with whatever i was doing. I dont know how long they stay online before they hang up , but i feel this is the best way i can get back at them for wasting my time.

I know who they are when they pronounce my last name wrong

I immediately interrupt them and ask them to remove us from their "list" and promptly hang up.

My family runs off cellphones. We don't play the home phone game. We have many quite days cause noone has our number. When I used to get the telemarketer calls I would give the phone to my son and let him deal with them. He would let them go through their deal and say sorry I am just a kid you need to talk to my parents. They would usually hang up.

Way too fun. I could waste hours just pressing the sound bytes It's kind of cool to press 3 or 4 in rapid succession you can almost listen to it have a conversation with its self.

I talk dirty to them. Like really dirty.

Just make sure they`re not gay or they`ll keep calling back.
