Can anyone tell me, in english I would understand, the benefits of a throttle body spacer. The manufactures description sounds like it's something I need, and for $100.00 it sounds like a good deal.???

It should increase air flow. thus more air flow + more fuel = HP. Of course this is my understanding of the throttle body spacer add on of the Ford Mustang.

had one on my f150... I don't know if it was a phsycological thing or not...do know that it whistled like a turbo so you knew it was working... some thought it annoying... I thought it was cool.

This sounds like a questions for f5stop... and I would also love to read it

TB spacer will slightly increase upper rpm HP and slightly decrease lower rpm HP. It's more of a psychological effect than anything. Basically, you're moving the power band up slightly(have I said slightly enough?). Past that, don't look for a noticeable increase in performance.
General rule--the more you spend, the faster you go. In the scheme of things, $100 is only the ante.

I tried it. Took it out. Sold it on eBay. Made noise and did not fit well.
