i guess it is no big deal but just curious if any one else has had this issue?

HummerB 01-31-2006 05:54 PM

nobody has this?

My right side A-pillar cover wasn't screwed on, just held in place by the rubber door trim. but nope, no gap like that.

Doesn't look normal. mine looks flush. Take it to the dealer and have them order a new apillar trim. or maybe it just needs re-adjusted.

Looks to be incorrectly installed. If left that way too long, it will form to that incorrect curve at the windshield. Might be able to pop off and re-install. If they can't fix this one, have them order a new one; it's all warranty work.

i was thinking about taking it off and re-applying it. However i am afraid of f-ing up the plug that covers the screw holding the pillar in place. Any recommendations as to the removal process, as i would rather do it myself instead of a GM shop mechanic.
