Who has added them? I am getting a set soon with the harness...anything I should watch for?! Switch locations? I am thinking by the front map lights...probably on the side or facing the rear.

I just had the PIAA's installed on my GOBI. I had them mount the switches on the side of the ctr. console. This way any error in measuring and layout would not be visible. The switches are mounted so you push the switch forward, not up or down, to turn on.

Seal the rubber gromet you punch through at the marker light. I need to check mine. I don't want a leak.

Sounds good!

I wanted to go through the marker lamp gromet, but I just wanted to be sure that was the way to go! I will drop some sealer on it after too! Maybe I will take photos as I go.

I always say that, but then I get excited and just do it.

Yes, low-clearances overhead.

I know right?!

I am going to have to be careful on the back roads this winter. Pines hand lower than low! The State/town does not trim, and when there is an ice storm trees bend to the ground.

So many people do that!

We will have thunderstorm or something...it will blow a tree down, and in less than a second there is like 3 guys with chainsaws all over it. It is like they knew it was going to happen! LOL

Good 'ol Vermont...how far are you from Quichee? We used to have a place there and would ski at Okemo...I miss winter weekends there. Cold as **** but way too much fun

VTSTOMPER 09-17-2005 01:48 PM

ROFL!

I am about 20 minutes from Okemo...and about 45 Minutes from Quichee. It does get cold as a mofo around these parts...oddly enough not too many people have block heaters.

4churchill 09-17-2005 05:10 PM

Yeah, we belonged to the Quichee club....it's really beautiful there in the summer too!!

I have the Delta 10x light bar and highly recommend it. I think you can light up 2 blocks with it. Have the 2 switches for the Delta (each switch controls 4 lights) and the 1 switch for brushguard lights in a row in front of the map lights in the upper console. Only negative on the Delta is cost, its expensive.
