Washing......

okay not sure if this has been posted before or not, but the MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASER does a great job on bugs ect when you wash your car (Hummer or whatever). I have a white Denali XL and never wash it. Well it does get washed when I get the oil changed. Anyway I thought it was time to clean it out (I think there was enough old fries to make a happy meal) and wash it. We have "love bugs" (or my daughter calls them the 2 headed bugs) and when they get smashed on the car it is like tar, and a few months ago I ran into the house and had some paint on the drivers side corner bumper cover. So I started to wash the truck and I thought about that Mr Clean Magic Eraser and all it claims to do so I got one from under the sink. Well 20 min later all of the paint from the house is off the truck and all of the bugs. It really works!!! I have a white truck so I don't know how it would work on a dark color but it worked great on mine, now I just need to wax it and all will be right with the world again.:D Has anyone else used the Magic Eraser before?

Re: Washing......

Yes with mixed results. It works good on walls, but not on vinyl floors with a coating; takes the coating off. On the interior of my Vette, at the sill moldings, helps to remove the scuff marks; one of the best items I have used to remove those damn scuffs.
As for paint....I tried a little on my Jeep and it actually appeared to be removing the clear coat. Can't say for sure if it was the eraser or just sun and time, but I didn't go any further. It definitely removes the wax.

I heart the Mr. Clean Eraser. :)

I don't use it a lot but when I see something on the wall- I whip it out. Then shortly after I become- the scuff hunter , I start walking around the house with my eagle eye, an hour can go by pretty quick. It's kinda fun.:D
