Rock rails from a jeep on a H3
Anyone tried or thought about using Jeep rocker rails on the H3?
I like the OEM rails, but i would like them to stick out further for side protection and to use as a step. The jeep rails if they fit would be perfect, key would be to find a jeep rail from either a XJ, Unlimited, or Grand Cherokee with the same length as the H3. Plus jeep rails are only about $250 to $350 dollars, most are made out of .120mm steel, like the factory model. https://rustysoffroad.com/Merchant2/.../xja-20_01.jpg |

By the time you finish modding them to fit the H3 you might as well just get the OEM's or a full custom job.
While the OEM's are a bit costly, they are sturdy and are a simple bolt-on. |

Don't any of you guys have acces to a chop saw, welder and some steel? The square tube sliderz would be EASY to build and pretty dang cheap too if you already have the tools.
