Dodge Challenger...LMAO
I was reading about the new Challenger coming out.......I laughed at this:D
"The Hemi has 425 hp, 420 lb-ft of torque, and a six-speed manual transmission. With its 4,100 pound weight, it can do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds (with 20 inch wheels on front and 21 inch wheels on back), and runs the quarter mile in 13 seconds flat; top speed is 174 mph (limited by wind resistance), while gas mileage is estimated at 14 city, 20 highway, very good compared with the original Challenger and roughly the same as today?s smallest, mostunderpowered Hummer. Brakes are more effective than the original - stopping from 60 mph can be done in 133 feet." |
Re: Dodge Challenger...LMAO
We need to set up a FUcharger website with that poor mileage:D

Wow, talk about apples and oranges.

Re: Dodge Challenger...LMAO
....sorry f5fstop....just agreeing with you....
and answer me this.....why is no one up in arms about the reported gas mileage???? The "CAR" weighs in at 4,100 lbs. 2,000+ lighter than an H2, yet no tree huggers are bitching about 14 mpg city. Go figure. I am averaging about 10-11 city and its a truck not a car. and another thing...what the hell is "very good" with 14 mpg????????? Deranged as$holes. |
Re: Dodge Challenger...LMAO
I agree, look at the Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 SRT-10 8.3L 10cyl that gets 9-12 mpg, and no one hates it.

Re: Dodge Challenger...LMAO
I wasent even talking about the gas mileage.
I thought it was funny how instead of just mentioning the H3 or Hummer name, they mentioned it as the "underpowered vehicle of the Hummer Line...." |
Re: Dodge Challenger...LMAO
They havn't driven mine. I don't feel underpowered at all. When I drive the H2, it does have a lot more power. But my 3 just feels like a buff offroad machine. Underpowered my a$$

Re: Dodge Challenger...LMAO
in the end, this type of irrational discrepancy (anything hummer must be evil, anything else can be portrayed as good) will be the undoing of the more maniacal element of the envirolibs
that and rational, expanded understanding of energy use and vehicles (see www.cnwmr.com) |
