Personally, I like the FJ, 'cuz my needs are more weather, interior size weighted. But for off road, I think H3 is better.

Nitro - no idea

Its blasphemy to use the venerable FJ designation for that ugly mess.

What do I think? I don't like either of them. But how do they compare (fully stock)?

Off road, the FJ seems just a little behind the H3 based on the specs, but I haven't driven it in the dirt. On road, the FJ accelerates faster, but is about as agile, tho it seems to have more body roll.

As for the Nitro, it's not in the same class. It is a street machine, pure and simple. It may be based on the Jeep Liberty, but the NV140 and NV143 optional transfer cases are single-speed only, so the AWD is optional, but without 4-lo. It won't even have the liberty's ground clearance and approach-departure-breakover angles.

Don't care for both FJ and Nitro.
