SIRIUS AND IPOD
 

I want to hook up the factory Nav radio in my 06 SUT to Sirius (waiting for the SIR-GM1 to come out) AND to my ipod and be able to control all through the steering wheel. I worry that it'll end up being a "you can have one or the other" kinda thing. Anyone know what the deal is on this stuff?

I just got my notification that my SirGM1 shipped to me! Crutchfield had them.. and they are out.. next shipment is on Wednesday (my suggestion is to preorder one asap to get yours .. Rep said they all went today).


To connect Ipod you can look at the Precision Interface Electronics GM12-AUX. This plugs in to your factory set up (even with the sirgm1). This one is about 69.00. but there are other models that cost more.
Check crutchfield.

lemme know which one your getting.. i just got my video ipod and now i have a need to connect it too. I may have to get the model i listed.. seems simple enough..

my unit will be here friday, I'll be tearing the truck back apart next week doing a bunch to it and this is one thing I'll do and will also post some pics
