Need help with factory roof offroad lights.
The lights installation manual states plugging the wiring connector into Z82 location of MidBec. In the 2005 manual, the socket shown is for electric trailer braking, which is second socket from the left of the fuse block. The first socket from the left is for special equipment option/offroad lights. Why can't this first socket be use for the lights? Which is the right socket to use? Page 4-79 in the Hummer manual also states: If your vehicle has factory offroad lights, the place where the electric trailer brake connection must be made is already in use. Can someone with factory roof lights verify the socket to use? Thank you.

H2Woo, thank you. The factory wiring has a plug that utilizes one of the socket in the fuse block underneath the steering column. I'm just curious if I can use the socket for SEO rather than the electric brake socket as the instruction calls for. Thanks. |
Re: Need help with factory roof offroad lights.
