Before anyone else looks at this, you should delete this post and rermove the reflectors NOW! GO! RUN FAST! REMOVE THEM! QUICK!

Only way to go on the stainless bumper letter inserts is OEM GM, Get them at the HUMMER dealer or on the net but if you go other the fit sux like you said the R doesnt have a chance of fitting. I got my first set off ebay for 39 and threw them in the trash. Second set were the OEM ones for 56 and the fit was perfect. the thickness of the OEM ones was twice as thick also.

Most kits come with painless instructions, if you read the instructions and dont think you can handle it take it to someone you trust. The first set of front marker lamps I installed I thought the general was crazy(drill holes in the roof) but the 1st I took my time and all was well, but I still worry about water leaks. When I have to install anything like that being a flat rate mechanic it has to be right or I fix for free. rather loose 1/2 hour first time than lose 8-12 after headliner has to be replaced and other crap from water intrusion. All that said most aftermarket products are fairly easy to install with minor mechanical ability, worst case scenario your dealer bound.
