Has anyone ever driven from Cali to Cabo?
 

I'm thinking of a little adventure of flying to San Diego and renting a H3 to drive to Cabo and La Paz (if they even allow that) looks like about 500 miles? But some very interesting things along the way. Just curious if anyone has done this.

Only done it via plane. I have driven my rental car from Cabo to La Paz and back. Roads aren't bad, traffic is light. Driving at night is not recommended due to cows wandering onto road.

A friend of mine owns a place down on the tip of the Baja peninsula and he says it's a hike. The last 200 miles are the worst. Not sure about Cabo. I'd be a little askeered of the corrupt Messican cops.
