FYI/Front End Clunk (Moog pitman arm)

I finally found out what was causing my front end clunk. I had a pitman arm installed a few months back, it was bad and making noise. The noise ended up worse with a clunk, thought it was something else? i got under the truck and noticed that the pitmam arm had movement up and down, there was actually a gap between the washer and the arm. the arm was clearly manufactured incorrectly and left no room for torquing the arm into place, the arm was up to far on the spline. The nut was confirmed torqued correctly. tried a second arm supplied by Moog, same problem, the rep from Moog had no concerns with the product and blamed the steering box spline.
I had my mechanic change it today with a Gm arm, perfect fit, no play and a significant differance in measurements between the arms.

Just have one more front end issue to deal with :excited: yippee
