Paragon Run Oct. 7 and 8, 2006

Wow, fun to see how the H2 changed it's paint job over the course of the weekend!

Anyone else that was there this weekend should feel free to post pics on here as well!

I didn't post pics of anyone else in the group because I didn't ask them if they would be ok with that, and they weren't forum members. And after this PARAGON BS, I don't want anyone else getting burned by his childish antics, or being wrongfully associated with me.

What a great weekend though! The weather was a little cold on Saturday but warmed up nicely, the trees were changing, and there were A LOT of people there (very few Hummers though...). Met some cool Jeep people, and gave the H2 a good rep, considering I didn't get stuck or break anything :clapping:

Glad you guys enjoyed the pics. :beerchug: It was a lot of fun!

Now the bad news! I must have ruptured a seal, I guess on the CV joint, or something in that vicinity. I got to the mall today, and I looked underneath, and there was grease everywhere. So I called up a tow through OnStar, and then they took me back to my local Chevy dealer.

Grease appeared to be coming out somewhere around this point.

I felt like such a dumbass...

Which dealership?Fredrick Chevrolet , I would think...If so they are great people and will take care of your truck.

But IMO you should have cleaned your truck off first!!!!!You may end up paying for this.

I was planning on washing it off when I got home after the mall because I'm having new tires put on this week, and wanted to have them do some other routine maintenance at the shop... I applogized to them, said there wasn't much I could do. :(

Maybe I should go in the morning, and see if they'll let me use the power washer on it.

You make it a habit to "look underneath" after you always get to the mall?

Just for reference, if anyone's headed to Paragon, and wants to know some trails the H2 will fit through and handle, or some feedback on some you maybe never tried before:

The images in post one are from #25 Trail 25 - Green Level 3

The images in post two are from the same trail, with the exception of the second last one from #7 Turtle Trail - Green Level 2 (going up)

The images in post three are from #44 Outer Spare Tire - Green Level 2 and the Play Area, which has obstacles of varying difficulty.

Trail #39 Impossible Hill - Green Level 3 was a lot of fun!

I'm not sure what other trails were covered. There are 150 miles of trails on 5,500 acres. The biggest diffculty on all these trails was not the rock obstacles, but the proximity of trees on either side of the trail.

Paragon Adventure Park
