noticed a little oil under my h3 in the garage today
 

whats wrong with it? i already set up an appt at the dealer for monday but i wonder what the problem is. 22k miles

Oil comes from: oil pan gaskets, drain plug, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, main seal...who knows. Engine oil or tranny oil or front diff oil? Can you tell? That sucks man. :popcorn:

When I did my first oil change Inoticed the dealer left some oil in the drip pan located under the filter.There was also some oil on the underside of the skidplates.:twak:

My following oil change it was dry as a bone.(I wiped the area and sprayed with brake cleaner):D

X2. I was wondering if you had a recent oil change myself. Or perhaps there was to much oil in the engine and it blew it out somewhere....

I just hope you didn't break a seal somewhere. :popcorn:

Edit: This is best case scenario. Pull out a creeper and roll on under there.

When did you last change your oil?

My last oil change they spilled some oil around the engine and the next few days after I thought I had the same problem.

I would tell you exactly whats wrong with it, unfortunatly the crystal ball I ordered from snap-on 5 years ago is still on backorder:D . Seriously though, maybe somethings leaking;)
